A legenDERRY few days in Northern Ireland as we will spend 3 nights in The North’s two largest Cities and small Irish town in the heart of Donegal. DAY 1: SOUTH TO BELFAST

Failte Romhat; (Welcome), Your tour starts when we leave the capital city of Dublin and make our way to the Boyne Valley, for The Kings boat tour along the Boyne river in a ‘currach’, ancient small-sized boats that has featured many times in Game of Thrones.
Onwards as we make our way to majestic Northern Ireland.
In Belfast city, you will have free time to choose from many excellent optional activities such as; visit Titanic Belfast, take a Black Taxi Tour, enjoy a 3-hour historical walking tour or experience a Belfast bike tour. In the evening be sure to visit the quirky bars of the Cathedral Quarter and the beautiful murals on the walls of the alleyways.

DAY 2: Belfast to Derry

his morning we take the coast road has been compared to the Great Ocean Road in Australia and California and you will see why. En Route we will take in Game of Thrones locations and the stunning Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, where you can sway Indiana Jones’ style over the choppy Atlantic Ocean below.
After a ‘wee’ photo stop at ‘The Dark Hedges’, this morning we hike along the North’s top tourist attractions The Giants Causeway. The Giant’s Causeway, renowned for its polygonal columns of layered basalt, is the only World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland. In the evening we travel along the coast to the historic Derry city.

DAY 3: DERRY TO DONEGAL

Today we head back to the Republic of Ireland, to Donegal. However, firstly we will take you on an award-winning guided tour of Derry City. The tour has been described by many as possibly the Best Walking Tour on the Island of Ireland. Afterwards, we cross the border to Donegal and travel up the foothill of a mountain, known as An Grianan Aileach, an ancient stone fort with breathtaking views from the top.
Onwards then to explore Glenveagh National park by bike or on foot. The park is a remote and hauntingly beautiful wilderness of rugged mountains, pristine lakes, tumbling waterfalls and enchanted native oak woodland in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains in the north-west of County Donegal.
This followed by a late afternoon visit to Slieve League. Walk along Europe’s highest sea cliffs, Slieve League. These cliffs are among the highest sea cliffs in Europe. From the highest point on the cliffs, it’s a staggering 609m (1,998 feet) drop into the swirling Atlantic Ocean below.

DAY 4: DONEGAL TO DUBLIN

This morning we travel through the wilds of Northwest Sligo and stand at the edge of the world at Mullaghmore. Jutting out of Sligo’s northern edge, close to the county’s border with Donegal, the small peninsula of Mullaghmore sits dramatically out into the North Atlantic.
The waters here are not simply photogenic. They have become known for some of the most sought-after waves in surfing. Mullaghmore is notably championed for one big break in particular which Surfing magazine has dubbed “a mutant Irish left”.
From there you will have some free time if you wish in the town of Sligo before catching the train back to Dublin.
