Dingle Peninsula, Minard or Ross Castle, Slea Head, Wild Atlantic Way Ocean Walk

Early Morning

Our first stop of the day is at the tranquil Inch Strand. Wander along this long stretch of wide, clean and serene beach and get lost in your thoughts.

From there we go away off the beaten track to Minard. This is a place where only the big tour buses can wonder and see in the far off distance. Learn about the history of the castle that dominates the landscape there, drink water from the Well of the local saint and leave a gift for the fairies on the hidden fairy tree.

Early Afternoon

Dunmore Head & Wild Atlantic Way Ocean Walk

This gentle loop walk gives wonderful views over Clogher Beach, Ceann Sibeal, the headlands of Ceann Sratha, An Dun Mor, Mount Brandon, Eagle Mountain and the Blasket islands. On minor roads, sandy paths and coastal tracks it is uphill initially then downhill or on the flat and includes a cliff top stretch, passing the schoolhouse built for the film Ryan’s Daughter.

Late Afternoon

After the walk we will make our back to Dingle town where you will have time to relax and unwind in a nice cosy pub. Enjoy the fresh catch of the day while sipping on some locally brewed beer or whiskey.

Top it all off with some local Murphys Ice Cream , made from the fresh milk of the Kerry cow.  You will also have some time to walk the towns colourful streets and go souvenir shopping.
