Don't Just Take Our Word For It!
I was part of the 6-day tour of Northern Ireland with Lee, on May 25-29, 2026. Lee was a competent guide and driver! He was quite informative of our surroundings and provided lots of details.
I do recommend a fuller itinerary for Belfast, there was too much focus on 'the troubles' and there is so much more of the city that was missed. Especially places like C.S. Lewis square, and some of the local artisans who are part of the fabric of the city.
Accommodations were lovely, a bit extravagant for my humble desires, but very nice.
I would have to say that Westport was the highlight of the tour for me, as there was local history and current adventures.

Our Irish Experience Small Group Tour was just brilliant. The itinerary on our 8 day tour was well thought out, interesting and memorable with small villages and bigger towns on the agenda. It ranged from big country houses to sheepdog demonstrations, Irish music and dancing in local pubs. Our tour guide/driver Lee was completely brilliant and made the whole experience as enjoyable and easy as it could have been. Very highly recommend.

An amazing tour!! Our tour guide/driver shared his extensive knowledge of the history of Ireland and local folklore. From Dublin to Galway and back he made us all comfortable and made sure we had lots of "craic" (fun).
The pubs with great food, music and Irish dancing; the beautiful scenery; the boat ride in Dingle Bay, the ferry across the Shannon River; the castles and museums; feeding lambs at the sheep herding stop; the delicious and quite generous breakfasts at the B&B's with lovely hosts. All just so wonderful!!

It was the fact that this is a family run, Irish tour company that we booked with Irish Experience Tours and we were very happy that we did. There was a good balance between countryside, driving, historic places to visit and towns.
The accommodation and food were faultless.
Thanks for a memorable tour 💖

This amazing journey felt more like a fun road trip with friends than a standard tour. From the moment we boarded the comfortable van the guide went above and beyond. We were entertained, educated and treated to an authentic Ireland. We enjoyed beautiful castles and gardens, wandered down winding roads with stunning views, heard music that made our hearts sing, and dipped our toes in the icy Atlantic. The tour was organized and well thought out but not canned. It was obvious the guide loved his home and that sparked joy among the travelers. Our accommodations were lovely and the breakfasts served at each were delicious. Irish Experience did not disappoint and definitely exceeded my group’s expectations.
