Cultural Tour Company Of The Year 2024

Wild Women of Ireland Tour. My first visit to Ireland, and my first tour travel. In my opinion, what matters and what doesn't in my experience with this tour... What doesn't matter: your age, where you live, gay or not, single or not, children or not, what you do or did for work, politics. What does matter: an affinity for the company of women, a keen interest in Ireland for any reason, an appreciation for strong women past and present, Guinness at lunch, interest in learning about and respect for the connections between the roles of historical and current women, sturdy walking shoes, camera for taking pictures of all the astounding, important and beautiful things they are going to show you. Just do it, you'll understand. Slainte, indeed.

This was, hands down, the BEST tour from start to finish. Our driver Anthony is not only a wealth of knowledge in all things Ireland, but also very personable and inviting. He genuinely wants everyone to feel welcome and included in the tour. The small group tour is fantastic! The smaller tour busses can get into places to see some sites that the larger busses cannot get to, which is great. I highly recommend using Irish Experience Tours and will be telling everyone who wants to travel to Ireland to use them.

A small-group tour that covers the main tourist sights while also showing you where the locals go. The drivers are incredibly knowledgeable and take you to places the big buses can’t reach. At the same time, it feels less like a tour and more like being shown around by a long-lost relative.

St Patricks Day Tours of Ireland - FAQs

When is the best time to visit Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day?

The St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Dublin runs around March 17th, with events and celebrations taking place over several days. Our tours departing on March 10th–15th are ideal if you want to join the festivities after your tour, while later departures (like March 24th or 29th) are perfect if you’d rather celebrate before heading off on your adventure.

Can I still enjoy St. Patrick’s Day if I’m not in Dublin?

Absolutely! St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated all across Ireland — from local parades in charming towns like Dingle or Westport to traditional music sessions in coastal pubs. If you prefer a more relaxed and authentic experience, celebrating outside the city can be even more special.

Will the weather affect our tour in March?

March in Ireland is fresh and lively — expect cool temperatures, occasional rain, and plenty of dramatic skies perfect for photography. Our tours are designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, and we always have a Plan B if the weather plays up. Just pack layers and a good rain jacket, and you’ll be grand!
