It All Started With a Dream… (And a Bus)
Irish Experience Tours began with more than just wanderlust – it started with family, passion, and a good old-fashioned Irish bus.
In 2010, Sean set out to reimagine how people experience Ireland – not through impersonal coach tours or one-size-fits-all travel, but through small, soulful journeys led by locals who genuinely care. The business was built on the foundation of his father Jackie’s local bus company, which had been running since 1986, serving the community with dedication and heart.
What started as a blend of Sean’s vision for travel and Jackie’s wheels on the ground became the perfect recipe for a uniquely personal touring experience.
And the family spirit is still at the core of everything we do.
To this day, Sean’s family are deeply involved – whether it’s cleaning buses, sourcing local touches, or helping guests find just the right hotel. This is not just our business; it’s our home, our story, and our way of welcoming you into the family.
