An experience to savor and remember My husband and I embarked on the 7 day Irish Experience Tour of the Atlantic Way in early September of 2024. The tour was just what we needed. It was relaxed, yet always changing and it was a thorough visit to the southwest region of Ireland and then up to Galway. Our tour guide was Kieran and he was so caring, helpful and informative. He knew his Irish history including geology, culture, and politics. We traveled with 14 others who were from all over the world and we loved meeting each and every one of our fellow travelers. I highly recommend looking at the daily event summaries so that you can get an idea of all that you will experience on this tour. We were so pleased with this experience. Review for Lee Irish experience A little overdue because life has been hectic, but we’ve thought about you time and time again what an amazing experience. It was to visit Ireland and get to see so much in so little time with the incredible team from the Irish experience We were fortunate enough to have the tour guide Lee He treated us all like family. He was knowledgeable tons of fun real got us mixed in with the locals and full of life. ! He showed us more of the country than we ever thought. We would see in a short period of time. We learned so much and had so much fun along the way We sang songs in local pubs, celebrate, celebrated the culture of Ireland ate the most delicious foods and drank cocktails beyond words! We enjoyed this trip very much. Small group on a small bus. Got to see a lot of hidden gems not seen on the larger bus tours.

10 day Wild Irish Experience Tour with tour guide extraordinaire Lee This tour far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it if this is the kind of tour experience you're looking for. This is a small group tour (max 16). Our tour had six people. I believe this is a far better tour experience than a large bus with 40+ people.

This tour features lots of castles, abbeys, scenery and back roads. You get enough time at each stop to take in the experience without being rushed. Evenings are spent in towns with good B&Bs, restaurants, pubs, and shops. You'll have plenty of time to explore and hear the local musicians.

Our tour guide, Lee, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. His knowledge of the history and background of the places we visited brought each stop alive. He went above and beyond to make our experience the best possible. When weather got in the way, he rescheduled and rerouted as needed to keep us experiencing new things. He gave us lots of recommendations for food and pubs along the way.

Some useful info unrelated to the tour: Excellent 5G cell coverage everywhere I went, even in the middle of nowhere. Free wifi just about anywhere you might linger: hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. Paying with a credit card, even for small purchases like a pint, is common. It is nice, though, to have a bit of cash. To withdraw cash, best to use a bank ATM (like Bank of Ireland or AIB) and when given the option, choose to withdraw in Euros, not your local currency.

My wife and I did the 10-day tour through Irish Experience Tours. Overall we loved our experience and got to see many historical sites, vivid scenery, and experience Irish culture, food, and music/dance. We especially liked our excursion to Inishmor, the Staigue fort, getting to experience Ireland with a small group that we became fast friends with, and our excellent tour guide Anthony. One thing we appreciated is Anthony provided us with personalized recommendations (food/events) for our free time suited to our interests.

The Seven Day Atlantic Way Experience - Small Group Tour was amazing! We visited several small towns and villages, and Killarney National Park. Also saw spectacular beautiful views, including Cliffs of Moher and the Dingle Peninsula. We also viewed a sheep dog demonstration on a working farm. I learned a lot about Irish history and culture and really enjoyed my time in Southwest Ireland. Our tour guide, Sean, went above and beyond expectations. Sean also made travel arrangements for me when I discovered I had made an error on my return itinerary. The guide, meals, transport, and accommodations were all excellent. I highly recommend this wonderful tour and cannot wait to go back. Thank you Sean!

My wife and I went to Ireland to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and decided to go with smaller tour group who could offer a more personalized experience and still show us all there was to see in Ireland. We found Irish Experience Tours on TripAdvisor and decided to go with them. What a great decision it turned out to be. From a purely logistical standpoint, our tour guide Sean took care of everything. From booking the right accommodations to making sure we stayed on schedule to making sure we had enough time to explore each stop on our own, it felt like everything that needed to be covered was. At each stop he made great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. But what made the trip truly special was everything else. We didn't know what to expect, having never been to Ireland before. Sean's tour made us fall in love with this beautiful country. From his storytelling as we drove by historical sites, to the music he would play on the bus speakers to create a perfect soundtrack for each moment, it became an immersive experience that made you feel and appreciate the history of this amazing country. We saw so much, far more than we thought we would, and felt that we had the personalized attention we were looking for throughout. We saw Kinsale, Killarney, Dingle, Galway, and so many spots in between. We saw a mix of natural beauty and historical sites, and rounded things out with dining and shopping in these amazing towns and cities. We saw a wonderful sheep dog demonstration at a small farm, and a great performance of Celtic music and dance. Sean even made sure to schedule group dinners so that all of us had time to actually get to know each other. My wife and I cannot think of enough positive things to say about Sean and Irish Experience Tours, and we will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who asks us about our trip. Do yourself a favor and skip the big busses and go with this team. You will not be disappointed!

Sean, our tour leader, was excellent! He was so informative of the history of Ireland and we loved listening to his stories. He was naturally very funny which made the tour even more enjoyable. The places we visited and accommodation we stayed at were great. We know why Ireland is called the Emerald Isle as it is beautiful! Trip of a lifetime! You know when the stars align and everything seems to go better than you could have imagined? That was this trip for us! This small group tour experience of Ireland with Irish Experience Tours exceeded our expectations. Sean was such a fun, competent, and knowledgeable driver and put a lot of care into making sure our experience was special from start to finish. Every stop was went to on our itinerary was magical and worth the stop. Our group was diverse and fun and real connections made the trip even more special. As LGBTQ+ travelers celebrating a special anniversary, The tour company (and Ireland) were very welcoming and inclusive. A travel experience we will long remember! We traveled to Ireland on our honeymoon 20 years ago. Rented a tiny car and spent a week traveling by ourselves. This time we knew we wanted to join a tour. Irish Experience Tours was exceptional! We were fortunate to have Sean as our tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about Irish history and the perfect personality to lead our small group of 14. His story telling and mix of Irish music & contemporary songs enhanced the drive. With 7 days and six nights accommodations in B&B’s the package was reasonable. We enjoyed it so much we hope to book a private family tour for my nephew’s wedding in two years.

We found this trip to be a good balance between seeing the top spots and then having time on our own to appreciate them.This trip incorporated the key places we were interested in. It offered a comfortable balance of time driving, sightseeing and rest breaks. Anthony's passion for the geography of this area and his knowledge of its history meant we felt connected to this land. He listened to the needs of the group and was inclusive and adaptable. It was clear he wanted everyone to have a great experience. Anthony gave great advice about the little things that mean so much; where to eat, where the music will be and where the toilets are! He was fun, entertaining and personable and a great tour leader. Would recommend. Five stars!

An unforgettable Irish Experience! This trip was wonderful! I met many wonderful people and made new friends on the tour. The Driver Guides were very knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. I had two guides through the 13 day Irish tour and both were able to give information about the history and surroundings during the tour. The bus was very comfortable and spacious and hotels and B&Bs all lovely. Everything was very well organized! The places we got to see are filled with history and we were able to see a variety of market towns and national parks. I am very satisfied with this trip and I am happy I chose Irish experience tours! It’s a wonderful company with driver/guides who are locals that know the areas we are traveling very well. They were able to give the group suggestions on where to eat, best places to go, and I learned so much about Ireland from them. I will recommend this company to others and would take tours again with this company!

Everything good and lots of it. A lovely introduction to Ireland. Our very knowledgeable guide showed us numerous points of interest. His enthusiastic and evocative commentary made the places and people from the history of this fascinating country come alive.
