The 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, County Limerick, is the perfect reason to visit Ireland, but why come all this way just for the golf?

At Irish Experience Tours, we create private tours of Ireland built around your Ryder Cup plans, before the tournament, after it, or around the days youβre attending.
You bring the Ryder Cup tickets. Weβll take care of Ireland.
Why Pair an Ireland Tour with the 2027 Ryder Cup?
The Ryder Cup is a four-day event in a country that deserves fourteen. Tournament play runs Thursday through Sunday, with practice rounds from Monday to Wednesday: which means most fans land into Shannon, Cork, or Dublin days before the first ball is struck and want something to do with the rest of their time.
If you’re planning your Ryder Cup 2027 Ireland trip and want to fill the days around the golf with something genuinely memorable, start here. Here’s what Irish Experience Tours has to offer:
Local Guides
Team
Our guides are born and raised in Ireland. They know the roads, the stories, the hidden spots, and which pub has the best music on a Tuesday night. Work with a dedicated trip planner who manages every detail before you travel and a guide who makes it come alive on the ground.
Our Unique & Independent Stays
We prioritise family-run, locally-owned accommodation: tried, tested, and loved by our team. From boutique country hotels to historic castle estates, every property is chosen because it adds something to the experience, not just because it has beds available.
Local Unique
Experiences
Enjoy private tastings, and farm-to-table fine dining. Live-Music and Whisky Tours. Our Ireland tours focus on immersive, local experiences you wonβt find in guidebooks. And, where there are genuinely great choices, we let you decide.
Our Flexibility
Book any scheduled tour with a β¬250 deposit; the final balance is due 30 days before departure.Β We accept multiple payment methods and currencies.
Our Responsibility
By routing tours through rural and regional Ireland and choosing local businesses at every step, we use travel as a genuine force for good. We’re committed to our communities, our cultural heritage, and responsible tourism.
Our Luxury Tour Vehicles
Travel in custom vehicles with large panoramic windows, reclining seats, and air conditioning as standard. With a maximum of 16 people on any group departure, there’s always space and comfort.
Our driver/guide Lee impressed us, not only with his driving skills. His knowledgeable, humorous manner allowed him to guide the group through the journey with a real sense of ease.
In some locations, the group stayed in different accommodations - something we really appreciated, as it broke up the typical βgroup tour feelingβ. All the accommodation were perfectly fine and the breakfasts were of a much higher standard than expected.
We would recommend Irish Experience Tours (small group) to anyone who, like us, is hesitant about driving through Ireland themselves.
Getting to Adare Manor β Let Us Take Care of the Ireland Part
Adare Manor is within easy reach of several Irish airports β but during Ryder Cup week, Ireland will be exceptionally busy. Accommodation, rental cars and transport across the southwest will be in huge demand.
That’s where travelling with Irish Experience Tours makes life a whole lot easier.
Whether you’re flying into Shannon, Dublin, Cork or Kerry, we can build your private Ireland journey around your arrival airport, your Ryder Cup tickets and the days you plan to attend Adare Manor.
Flying into Dublin Airport?
No problem. In fact, Dublin gives you the opportunity to turn the journey to Adare into part of your Ireland experience.
Rather than simply transferring across the country, we can build your journey through Ireland with stops and overnight stays along the way before reaching the southwest for the Ryder Cup.
Great for: Dublin, Northern Ireland, Irelandβs Ancient East, Kilkenny and exploring more of Ireland en route to Adare.
Where to stay: Start with a night or two in Dublin before travelling west, or let us build a multi-stop itinerary towards Adare.
Our tip: If Dublin has the best flights for your group, donβt worry about the distance β we can make the journey part of the holiday.
Flying into Shannon Airport?
Just 35 minutes from Adare, Shannon is the closest international airport and an excellent choice for visitors arriving from North America.
It also puts you right beside County Clare and the Wild Atlantic Way, making it easy to combine Ryder Cup week with some of Irelandβs most spectacular west-coast scenery.
Great for: Adare, Limerick, Bunratty Castle, the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare and the Wild Atlantic Way.
Where to stay: Kerry and Limerick are the closest options, while County Clare & Galway give you more opportunity to experience the west coast during your stay.
Our tip: Choose Kerry if convenience is the priority β particularly if youβre coming primarily for the Ryder Cup with a few extra days to explore.
Flying into Cork Airport?
Cork is a fantastic option if you want the Ryder Cup to become part of a wider journey through southern Ireland.
Spend time discovering Cork, Kinsale and Blarney before continuing towards Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and eventually Adare.
Great for: Cork City, Kinsale, Blarney, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and Irelandβs south coast.
Where to stay: Spend your first nights around Cork or Kinsale before moving towards Kerry or the Ryder Cup region.
Our tip: Cork works particularly well if you have several days before or after the Ryder Cup and want to see more than just the tournament.
Flying into Kerry Airport?
Youβre already in one of Irelandβs most spectacular regions.
Kerry Airport puts Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula on your doorstep, making it a brilliant choice if you want to combine Ryder Cup week with the Wild Atlantic Way.
Great for: Killarney National Park, Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and the southwest coast.
Where to stay: Both Tralee & Killarney make an excellent base, with a wide choice of hotels, restaurants and pubs and plenty to experience away from the golf.
Our tip: If Kerry works for your flights, this is a fantastic option for turning the Ryder Cup into a proper southwest Ireland holiday.

FAQs: Ryder Cup 2027 Ireland
Does Irish Experience Tours sell Ryder Cup tickets or hospitality packages?
No, we are not an official Ryder Cup ticket-inclusive package operator. We design and run small-group and private Ireland tours that you pair with your Ryder Cup trip, whether that’s a custom week around the tournament or a fully bespoke two-week itinerary.
How do I get tickets to the 2027 Ryder Cup?
Tickets are sold through the official Ryder Cup ballot at rydercup.com and through licensed ticket-inclusive package providers including Ryder Cup Travel Services, On Location, Carr Golf, Golf Travel Centre and Your Golf Travel. Irish Experience Tours does not sell tournament tickets: we run the Ireland tours that complement your Ryder Cup trip.
Can anyone play Adare Manor golf course?
Yes, but green-fee access is reserved for resident guests of the Adare Manor hotel. Booking a stay at the resort is the standard route for non-members to play the course. Tee times for the 2027 calendar year are limited due to Ryder Cup preparation.
How long should I spend in Ireland around the Ryder Cup?
We recommend 7β14 days.
The tournament itself runs Monday to Sunday, but most visitors arrive a few days early and stay on afterwards to see the country.
A common pattern is arriving the previous Wednesday, spending 4β5 days exploring before tournament week, attending some or all of the competition, then spending a few days post-tournament in Kerry, Cork, or on the Wild Atlantic Way.
